First post: 1 thing, 2 do, 3 words, 4 you...i love you

well, i have great expectations for my 'simple pleasures' blog but i'm not sure i'm 100% up to the task. not that i don't LOVE to share my thoughts and show off my latest designs and tell you all about my super-cute kids, but i'm afraid i don't have the proper time to commit to such a task. i don't like to do anything half-way. i want my projects to look fab and be done right - not just thrown together. so, i guess the best way to know if this thing is going to take off or not is to just do it.

so here we go...

this is my first official post to my blog. i dedicate this first post to my main squeeze, my love and best buddy, my one and only husband, scott. he's a terrific dude, a great dad and is generally pretty handy around the house (when he is home that is - he's been working a lot lately and i think it is only going to get worse before it gets better, but more on that topic later on down the blogging road). my love, as i usually call him (the girls at the office tease us about this as i usually will say something like, 'hey love, will you please sign this check for me'.) anyway, i work a couple of hours a week doing the accounts payable and marketing at the office - my husband is a family physician with his own practice. check out our one and only web page at www.greerhealthcare.com. ANYWAY, i'm not here to talk about work, but rather dedicate this first blog entry to my love.

so, i stumbled on this super cute website (http://www.hdgreetings.com/) where you can customize the plain white t's song and video. the song is way cute and very fitting for someone that you love. so, after about 5 minutes or so, i had created this nifty little video for my love. i sent it to him via email - nothing like that personal touch, ey?
